Dr. Maria Montessori, the creator of the Montessori educational practice, observed that children could naturally achieve through self-order and personal realization in the learning environment.  Caurus Academy has taken this philosophy of learning and made a place where every child can attain this exciting learning experience in a small classroom environment with personal attention from teachers.

AIMS and Terra Nova Date Changes

 

Please make note on your calendars that Caurus Academy has made changes to the AIMS and Terra Nova test dates for this upcoming spring.

 

The changes are as follows:

AIMS testing was previously scheduled for April 5th through April 9th, 2010. The AIMS test will now be taken on April 12th through April 16th, 2010.  This will be for all 3rd-8th graders.

 

Terra Nova testing was previously scheduled for April 12th and 13th, 2010. The Terra Nova test will now be taken on April 19th and 20th, 2010.  This will be for 2nd graders only.

Our school office has moved to suite #114, right next door to the old office.  

Dress code changes:  In addition to the powder blue collared shirts, we have added another color shirt to the dress code, white.  The school dress code is either a solid powder blue or solid white collared shirt with solid navy bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers).
